1964-75 Alternator Cap & Retainer (Red). Retainer attaches behind the alternator post lead. The retainer is commonly missing with rebuilds, or a generic washer was used. This has the clip end to accept the cap. Each retainer is color coded the same as the cap & injection molded the way GM did.
